"Sometimes an idea slips through the cracks. Sometimes a painting does too. While moving studios this past year I discovered troves of unused photographs, collage material and supplies. There were pieces and sketches of paintings that I had meant to finish, or start. There were experimental paintings I had stopped because I was unable to achieve what I had intended them to be. Now years later I found that I had everything I needed to complete these lingering unformed ideas. In order to warm myself to this new amazing work space I started putting together these lost materials and found in them something all together new.

The result is a sampling of different spaces that span miles geographically and years chronologically. By bringing the past into the present here at Anchorlight I have started a new chapter in my painting career. The new studio has taken shape and the work has begun."
